Non Standard Colours

As well as the fourteen standard colours available in the UK, there are many more which, whilst standard on the continent, are classed as Non-Standard here. In the UK these non-standard colours cannot be shown in standard Booted classes so you need to find the non standard classes which a lot of shows will put on, where your birds will be up against non standard colours of various other breeds. At Booted Society Regional shows and at the Booted Club Show, separate classes are put on specially for non standard Booted colours, though these cannot win any of the major awards on offer.

Colours such as Partridge, Columbian, Blue Patterned Millefleurs and Blue Mottled can be found throughout the UK. There are many more colours available on the continent, some of which are making their way to the UK.
